Please be aware that road closures affecting Hill Rd, closed between Whichford Rd & Long Compton Rd / Harrow Hill, Long Compton Rd/ Harrow Hill between Church Lane and Western Park Rd to facilitate carriageway repairs will come into effect from 23rd May. Alternative routes will be signposted .
A warm welcome to the Whichford and Ascott
Parish Council website. The Council is responsible for setting the Parish’s
annual precept which pays for a range of local amenities, in particular the
maintenance of the village green. It also seeks to ensure that villagers‘
views are gathered and reflected to the District and County Councils on
matters such as roads, drainage and planning applications and for generally
providing a forum where our residents can discuss matters of communal interest.
On here you will find agendas for and minutes of our meetings, which take
place every two months, copies of our accounts, other documents that we are
required by law to publish and a running list of planning applications. You
